Antebellum plantation home restoration and renovation. This house burned, and was rebuilt after the Civil War and was recently renovated with all modern amenities.

We assisted the owner with their state contract proposals, pro-forma budgets, scheduling, design, and administration of the work. Renovated ballrooms, outbuildings kitchen and bar.
SMITHTOWN LANDING COUNTRY CLUB -Smithtown N.Y.
Renovation of an historic, riverside house (circa 1853 ), into a dining room as focal point of a 15,000 sq. ft. catering facility. Projects included elevated terrace over a new cart barn, 3 ballroom renovations, and taproom addition, cafeteria addition, commercial kitchen renovation and elevated decks off of ballroom - occupancy of 250.

This conversion entailed stripping the building to the shell, major structural alterations, complete installation of mechanical systems and life safety systems, commercial kitchen, custom bar millwork, custom seating and up-scale finishes. Assisted the owner with acquisition, feasibility study, permits, design, construction management and close out of the project.

SMITHTOWN LANDING COUNTRY CLUB - 2003
Renovation to the main ballroom, cafeteria, bar, outdoor decks and bathrooms. Ballroom renovations entailed new 20 x80 foot barrel vaulted drywall ceilings, extensive millwork by Southern Lumber, HVAC modifications, lighting and electric, sprinkler modifications, smoke and heat detection system changes, and finishes.

Working with Design Forum as the prototype designer, we renovated an existing showroom, parts and customer service area, without closing, to bring it up to conformance with Volvo’s National Design Standards.

Designed renovations and additions for this Montessori styled school: first grade through eight. The architect performed analysis of the school circulation, formulated plans for 2 science labs additions and a gymnasium renovation.
ST. MARTIN OF TOURS PRE-SCHOOL Amityville, N.Y.
Architecture and Interior Design of 3,200-sq. ft. preschool and Kindergarten spaces in Diocesan school. Egress and life safety issues were addressed in this installation. Because of this very successful program another preschool space was developed.
ST. MARTIN OF TOURS PRE-SCHOOL ADDITION, Amityville, N.Y.
This addition for 36 children was built atop a subterranean cafeteria structure. The architect developed a unique structural system that simplified the loading of the concrete structure below and kept costs to $80 per Sq. Ft. Integration of life safety systems, communications, and refining the circulation of the exterior spaces produced a successful project. included full service architecture, interior design and contract administration. Issues of egress, handicap access, and life safety were combined with pleasant interiors. This project became a model for diocesan schools.
ST JOSEPHS ACADEMY, Brentwood, N.Y.
Designed the conversion of two large 1600 sq. ft. high school spaces into science laboratory classrooms. The architect designed casework, piping of gases, life safety stations, arranged all plumbing and waste systems and integrated school communications.
